Who we are
Future Founders (“we”, “us”) provides future life skills programmes for primary schools in the United Arab Emirates, including our entrepreneurship programme and the Future Founders UAE Grand Final. We are based in Dubai.
We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions, email us at hello@futurefounders.ae.
What this policy covers
This policy covers our public website, futurefounders.ae, and the enquiries you send us through it or by email.
It does not cover the teacher platform that schools use to access lesson materials, or any information about students. Schools taking part in the programme receive a separate privacy notice that explains how that information is handled.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you complete an enquiry form or email us, we collect:
- your name and job title
- the name of your school or organisation
- your email address, and your phone number if you choose to give it
- what you are interested in, and any message you write
Our forms are designed for school staff and organisations. Please do not include information about individual students.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, our hosting provider records basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of your visit. This is standard for any website and is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Cookies. Our website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use your information
- to reply to your enquiry and arrange a call if you ask for one
- to set up and support a free pilot or a school's participation in the programme
- to send sponsorship information if you request it
- to keep a record of our conversations with schools and partners
- to keep the website running securely
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising. We will only send you news or updates if you have asked us to, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
Why we are allowed to use it
We use your information because you have asked us to contact you, because it is needed to take steps towards an agreement with your school or organisation, or because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our programme. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
We aim to handle personal data in line with the UAE’s Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable law.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the website and handle enquiries. They only process your information on our behalf and for these purposes.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or with professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers where needed.
Information stored outside the UAE
Some of our providers store or process information outside the UAE. Where this happens, we choose providers that apply recognised security measures and contractual protections to keep your information safe.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless your school or organisation goes on to work with us, in which case we keep the records we need for as long as that relationship lasts and for any period required by law. After that, we delete it.
Technical logs kept by our hosting provider are kept for a limited period and then deleted automatically.
Keeping it secure
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiries are stored in a database that the public website can add to but cannot read, and only authorised Future Founders staff can view them.
Children
This website is intended for adults, such as school leaders, teachers and organisations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you and give you a copy
- correct information that is wrong or incomplete
- delete your information
- stop or limit how we use it, or stop contacting you
To make a request, email hello@futurefounders.ae. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our response, you can contact the relevant data protection authority in the UAE.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our programme grows. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will let schools we work with know directly.
